Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance and housekeeping duties in maintaining the cleanliness of the residents' rooms, as well as the facility as a whole . This position will also deliver residents to and from appointments in a safe, comfortable and timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates commitment to company's mission, values and standards of ethical behavior.
- Ensures that all residents are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, and respect, and their rights are always protected.
- Respects and upholds all residents' personal and property rights whenever carrying out duties, including knocking before entering a resident's room.
- Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Cleans residents' rooms, common areas, recreational areas, floors, windows, mirrors, light fixtures, etc.
- Cleaning, washing, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Assist with removing trash and relining trash receptacles.
- Perform other duties assigned to them by the Director of Housekeeping & Laundry.
- Observes and follows all infection control and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Be able to do light maintenance in turning units and fixing daily maintenance issues
- Delivers residents to and from appointments without delay or incident, and in comfort.
- Plans and coordinates transportation for all outings for residents.
- Follows all California transportation laws and Company policies and procedures when operating vehicle, including Vehicle Safety Checklist procedures.
- Refill vehicles with fuel as necessary.
- Notifies Maintenance and Administration if vehicle(s) need maintenance or repair work.
Qualifications:
- Must possess at minimum a High School Education or equivalent (GED).
- Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required, as on the job training will be provided.
- Experience in healthcare facility preferred.

- Must have a minimum of 3 years' driving experience; previous work experience as a driver preferred.
- Must have valid Class C driver's license with a clear DMV record and be insurable under Company's insurance policy.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00/hr*
*The salary range is the one that Corona RCFE reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual salary will depend on several factors (e.g., experience, educations, qualifications, etc.).
