Job description
Position: Drilling Engineer
Job type: Part time contract 2-3 days per week, expected 3 Month duration.
Location: Denver
Petroplan is currently working with an expansion focused E&P business who are in the process of increasing their operations within the DJ basin and due to this continued growth, a need has arisen within the business to add a highly experienced Drilling Engineer to their onshore operations division to assist with the ongoing project.
Key challenges will include:
- This Drilling Engineer is responsible for providing engineering, operations, regulatory and supply chain management support for all appraisal and development well work
- The work is to be conducted in a safe, legal, and environmentally responsible and effective manner
- Managing third party contractors overseeing the engineering design
- Responsible for drilling procedures and associated well cost estimates for assigned wells
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the DJ Basin as a Drilling Engineer.
Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated safety professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.
