The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the Security Risk & Integrated Risk Management team. The Information Technology Specialist II is a highly technical analyst who implements and maintains standards and policies based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act), Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Publication 1075, Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM), Statewide Administrative Manual (SAM) and the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and produces quality work products that follow security best practices, adhering to risk management frameworks under NIST. Works with System Owners to develop and maintain System Security Plans, Risk Register Plan of Action and Milestones, documents security risk assessments and puts together Certification and Accreditation packages for executive level review.
