Robotic Welder
Pay: $25-30hr.
Hours: 5PM-4:30AM

Job Description:
The Robotic welder sets up and operates computer-controlled machines or robots to perform various machine functions on steel products. Adheres strictly to all safety requirements and protocols to ensure a secure work environment. Utilizes expertise in welding and proficiently operates robotic machinery using computer-based software. Interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and other technical documents to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, welding methods, and sequences. Safely mounts, aligns, and secures tooling, attachments, and workpieces onto the machine using an overhead crane. Ensures proper setup, interpretation, and verification of program correctness to be used on the machine. Measures workpieces for conformance to specifications, ensuring precision and accuracy in fabrication. Take proactive measures to address any malfunctions or deviations from tolerance in machine operations, either by entering commands or manually adjusting machine controls. Operates the machine manually to execute functions in cases where automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunctions, as applicable. Communicates any discrepancies or concerns to the supervisor promptly for resolution. Collaborates with supervisors or programming personnel to troubleshoot, control media errors, and resolve problems effectively.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience required.
