Senior Land Surveyor (Novato, CA)
Novato, CA North San Francisco Bay 94945
A thriving established consulting firm that provides civil engineering and land surveying services actively seeks Senior Land Surveyor to join our Novato, CA office.
Our collaborative environment has ensured our success by working together on a variety of projects to north bay residents, public agencies, construction companies and private developers. As a Sr. Land Surveyor, you will be a strong communicator with your team and the client, a team player, and self-motivated to learn and teach emerging cutting-edge survey industry technologies as they develop.


Senior Land Surveyor Qualifications and Experience Needed:
Have a California Professional Land Surveyors License (PLS)
Proficiency in Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, & MS Office
Managing projects from proposal and contract preparation through deliverables
A strong understanding of geodetic surveys - familiarity with State Plane Coordinates, low distortion projections, geoid modeling, etc.
Data processing of conventional and GNSS (RTK & Static) data as well as Post-Processing
Ability to develop both the business and field operation aspects of our land surveying division
Must be a strong communicator
Must want to work in a collaborative team oriented environment


Senior Land Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for oversight and decisions related to complex land surveying projects as well as managerial oversight & project scheduling
You will prepare fee estimates and proposals
You will complete boundary & topographic surveys, preparation of Records of Survey & Lot Line Adjustments, & AutoCAD mapping using Civil 3D
You will deliver a comprehensive set of surveying and mapping services to clients as their single point of contact

$120,000 to $130,000 depending on experience. 100% company paid health care.
