Job description
As a warehouse associate, you will be responsible for picking, scanning, loading, and placing products accurately. Additionally, you will organize the warehouse, participate in inventory management, inspect products for damage, and organize as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Accurately select from a pick ticket.
- Load and unload the trailers.
- Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and additional equipment (not FT on Lift).
- Hand stacking product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipment
- Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
- Maintain accurate inventories.
- Perform the cleaning and general maintenance of the warehouse.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Forklift certified with references.
Ability to operate various types of forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners.
Ability to read, communicate in English, and complete shipping paperwork accurately.
Have good judgment to operate forklifts safely, handle customers' products efficiently, and communicate tactfully.
Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, and twisting while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves. Candidates should be able to lift weights ranging from 20 to 100 pounds.
