Responsibilities

Global InfoTek is looking for a  Cloud Developer III  to join an innovative team of developers. The successful candidate will be developing an AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The Cloud Developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. The successful candidate will be developing an AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology.

• The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application.
• Support will include, but is not limited to: Design, develop, and deploy web applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB
• Develop and maintain serverless architectures using AWS services such as API Gateway, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch
• Create and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using AWS services such as CodeBuild and CodeDeploy
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as ECS, EKS, and Fargate
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as CloudFormation and CloudWatch
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using AWS services such as CloudWatch and X-Ray
• Develop and maintain security best practices for AWS services such as IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodePipeline and CodeBuild
• Design and develop serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda and Step Functions
• Develop and maintain automated backup and disaster recovery solutions using AWS services such as EBS and S3

Position is a  hybrid opportunity . The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience with 1 of the 3 major cloud service providers (Amazon, Microsoft, or Google).
• Experience architecting and migrating on-premises applications into a cloud platform. Associate level certification is a substitute for 2 years experience.

Desired

• Atlassian tools: Gitlab/Jira
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
