Job description

Optum is looking for a Wellness Nurse Practitioner  to join our team in the Inland Empire in CA . The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details:

• Must be able to travel to different PCP locations in the Inland Empire
• 1-2 office visits per day
• Responsibilities include discussing screenings, coding, documentation, and providing medical education
• 30-40 min visits
• Primarily serving the geriatric population
• 12 patients per day
• May be asked to do home visits on occasion
• Possibility to do telehealth visits
• Salary: $135K + sign-on

Required Qualifications:

• Open to new grads
• Unrestricted CA PA/NP License
• CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• EMR Proficiency

California Residents Only : The salary range for California residents is $109,513 to $147,146 per year.
