Light Duty Tow Truck Driver - $1500 in State / $2500 Out of State Sign on Bonus

Guardian Fleet Services Inc. is a Florida-based towing, recovery, and specialized transportation provider throughout Florida. We are the leaders in providing uncompromised professional towing, recovery and specialized transportation services to municipal, state and federal agencies, and commercial enterprises throughout the state of Florida, Georgia and Texas

  Qualifications, Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), 
• Relevant trade school - Towing, recovery or transport accreditation
• At least two (2) years of relative commercial driving experience
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools

Essential Duties:

• Reliable, strong customer service and professional demeanor
• Ability to drive and perform duties via interstate for towing, recovery, and/or transport
• Ability to communicate and work closely with Dispatch
• Ability to perform vehicle inspection sheet daily, identifying any mechanical issues
• Ability to follow all safety requirements and DOT rules and regulations
• Report all mechanical issues with regard to trucks and trailers at the time of discovery.
• Ability to work with software and computer programs i.e. Samsara, GPS, and Towbook
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
Job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. good hearing and vision required.
