Job Overview:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Camps Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our day camp programs by managing administrative tasks and overseeing the enrollment process. The Camps Coordinator will manage the records of each of the campers for both of our day camps - Camp Settoga, currently serving over 350 campers each summer, and the Day Camp at the JCC, which services 160 campers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be adept at multitasking, have experience in managing a team, and have a passion for creating positive and engaging camp experiences for participants. Camp is a dynamic work environment, and we are looking for someone who can bring creativity and energy to our camp team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Camps Coordinator is responsible for managing our enrollment software, creating payment plans and enrollment adjustments, assisting families with billing, and providing information to the camp team as needed. They will also manage and supervise busing to and from Camp Settoga.
During the Summer Season (June/July/August)
The summer season will be spent at Camp Settoga in Pomona, NY. The registrar will manage the team of office staff, including but not limited to the transportation coordinator, office administrative staff, and camp medical office.
During the Winter Season (September- May)
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, child development or related field
experience within a camp environment
Database management experience a plus
Experience managing a team is a plus
Salary Range: Minimum $55,000- Maximum $65,000
