We seek a highly creative writer eager to apply their scientific knowledge and skills to communicating with a variety of audiences (other scientists, customers, professionals). You will be part of a team that works collaboratively to tell the story of our technologies' impact on therapeutic discovery and human health.

Integral Molecular is a Philadelphia biotech company specializing in the discovery and characterization of therapeutic antibodies using cutting-edge technology platforms. Opportunities:

• Work with a supportive team to develop and craft outward facing company communications, especially publications and grants.
• Use your science training to contribute to the company’s knowledge base, scientific direction and product development.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and editing peer-reviewed scientific publications arising from internal and collaborative research.
• Work directly with research scientists to analyze data, plan, write and edit manuscripts.
• Creating and editing material (tutorials, application notes, patents, grants, and promotional material) for communications with other scientists, customers, and professionals.

Qualifications:

• MSc in the life sciences (biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or equivalent)with at least 2 years of scientific writing experience or PhD in the life sciences with evidence of excellent writing skills.
• Experience preparing and submitting material for peer-reviewed publications, high attention to detail, and experience in collaborative writing.
• Strong copy-editing experience for style, clarity, spelling and grammar is a plus.
• Experience leading and managing projects is desired.
• A writing assessment will be required and writing samples may be requested.
