Northstar New Jersey Lottery Group, LLC (NSNJ) is the lottery growth management services provider selected by the New Jersey Lottery to supply game design, sales, marketing, and various other services under a 15-year contract extending through June 2029. International Game Technology (IGT) and Scientific Games (SGMS), the world’s leading gaming companies, are members of NSNJ and provide services that help NSNJ support the New Jersey Lottery’s operations. Most recently, NSNJ helped the New Jersey Lottery set a new annual sales record of $3.29 billion and attain the highest level of independent certification for its Responsible Gaming program.

Responsibilities

Candidate must live within close proximity to North NJ territory (Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Essex, Union, Warren, Sussex, Hunterdon, Hudson).

 

This role is instrumental in impacting the success of NJ Lottery's Quick Draw game by providing in-store promotions in both the traditional and social space environments.


• Grow Quick Draw and other draw-based games in bars, restaurants, social clubs and traditional lottery retailers.
• Define a plan to target selected high opportunity locations with potential to increase lottery sales with focus on Quick Draw, in collaboration with the Sales Promotion Supervisor and sales management team members.
• Schedule, develop and execute in-store promotional events, by engaging prospective consumers as well as existing lottery players, in collaboration with the marketing, product and sales teams.
• Maintain appropriate usage of promotional materials in lottery retailers.
• Maintain regular open communication with Lottery Sales Representatives and Business Development Associates.
• Assist with other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

 

Physical (% time: travel, operating machinery, environmental etc.)


• Travel within territory nearly 100% of time worked.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be available to work a non-traditional schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
• Must live in close proximity to area of coverage.


Minimum education


Bachelor’s degree in business or sales/marketing or related field or equivalent experience


Years’ Experience


• Minimum of three years of related sales experience, retail or wholesale.
• Previous beer and wine industry experience a plus


Other skills


• Must be able to speak clearly and persuasively with strong interpersonal skills. 
• Expresses self well in group or in one-to-one conversations.
• Must be able to produce written materials that are clear, concise and easily understood.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency speaking Spanish a plus.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,500 - $115,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
