About the Role:
Our client is in search of a Sales Executive who will build up a new business unit for the organization focused on Data Centers. This individual will be responsible for supporting sales growth by building long-term, repeat order relationships with customers by offering, selling, and implementing solutions that meet their needs. This person will report to the business unit President.
What You Will Do:
- Drive consistent sales revenue and margin growth year over year.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Data Center solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and objectives, positioning our Data Center solutions as strategic assets.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Data Center technologies, features, and benefits.
- Articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Create detailed proposals outlining the value proposition and benefits of our Data Center solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
- Provide feedback to the leadership team on market dynamics and potential opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the leadership team.
- Attend trade shows and networking events.
- Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 5 years of experience selling Data Center solutions to senior leadership.
- Relationships in one or more of these industries: Utility, Electrical Power, Data Center.
- Proficiency in typical business tools including MS Office, CRM and ERP applications, Salesforce experience preferred.
