- Three (3) years of work experience in an engineering role.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical.
- Five (5) years of work experience in an engineering role in an aerospace environment.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with material processes such as heat treating, welding, chemical etching, and stripping, high-temperature diffusion coatings, plating, etc.
- Experience with NADCAP coating, heat treating, and welding accreditations.
- Knowledge specifically to high-temperature diffusion coatings (aluminide, chromide, and platinum aluminide coatings) for gas turbine engine components.
Skills and Abilities - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, operating procedure manuals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to operate a computer, and use a variety of software programs including Windows, Access, Auto Cad, Minitab, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Ability to prepare process method sheets.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and operating procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, and quadratic equations.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good organizational skills in maintaining a variety of records and reports.

Job Summary We are currently looking for a candidate to fill the role of Process Engineer. This position and will support manufacturing through process control, improvement initiatives, and assume direct responsibility for the integrity of assigned products. This position will also establish and maintain external and internal customer-associated documents, prepare part-specific work instructions, maintain knowledge of job costs, and develop/implement appropriate plans to improve profitability.
