Job description
The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking a
Quality Inspector II: Parts for 1st Shift.
In this role, the Quality Inspector will:
- Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base;
- Provide auditing support to shop floor operations;
- Support 1st Shift, 6:30 AM to 03:00 PM.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Typically requires a high school diploma or the overall equivalent;
- Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc;
- Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Coordinate measurement machine;
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T);
- Weld inspection;
- Faro Arm/Laser Tracker.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $41200 - $65900
