The Fleet Manager is responsible for driving growth and profitability within the RION Equipment division. The main objective of this position is to manage key relationships including overall program & pricing to ensure proper value and overall reduction of equipment lifecycle costs. In addition, the Fleet Manager will strive to maximize financial impact without sacrificing quality, value and service, while adhering to company policies, procedures, and objectives.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for developing and managing a strategy for the RION Equipment Fleet by providing input on fleet mix decisions, including fleet addition and disposal timing.
- Manages RION Equipment operations including recommending best practices, reducing overall costs, driving revenue growth and supporting customer satisfaction. Develops and maintains metrics tracking and reporting numbers.
- Assists with establishing sales forecasts and goals, and actively participates in monthly and scheduled forecast updates and adjustments.
- Assists with rates and book prices for the RION Equipment fleet to optimize yield in response to market conditions and utilization goals.
- Responsible for ensuring all RION Equipment quotes and transactions are processed timely in conjunction with appropriate RION Equipment Salesman and the Sales Representative.
- Works closely with the Rental and Sales representative to develop and expand the RION Equipment actives, by analyzing market opportunity in order to rent, sell and cross-sell products and services in support of established regions revenue/profitability and customer acquisition and retention objectives.
- Demonstrates organizational advocacy through positive teamwork and building trust and mutual respect for customers and employees. Develops and implements initiatives that reinforce vision of RION Equipment.
- Analyzes the local markets and relays information by reporting changes in competitive offerings, market stability, and growth opportunities.
- Participates in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by researching, developing and maintaining long and short range sales and marketing plans. Maintains staff awareness of strategic plans and procedures.
- May perform other duties as required and assigned.
