Position Summary/Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide parking and transportation services to support campus commuting through parking and alternatives to parking such as transit, biking, and walking to get to and around campus. The TDM Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with outreach efforts to promote the university's transportation services and alternative transportation programs. The position will coordinate and assist with distributing marketing and communication related to parking and alternative transportation options and that affect access and travel around the UNC campus.

This position will perform all duties in the parking services area including operating cash drawers, completing deposits, assisting customers in-person and by email/phone depending on the need. This position will provide transportation and parking information and support the Commuter Alternative Program ( CAP ) by attending campus events with the Transportation Planner. This position will assist in promoting the Commuter Alternative Program ( CAP ), which promotes alternatives to driving alone: transit, ridesharing, biking, and walking. This position will support these programs through advertising, outreach, and customer service. The Transportation Demand Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the customer service and information sharing related to mobility services, and coordination among various service types, including micro-mobility devices such as e-bikes and other Transportation Demand Management ( TDM ) options. This position will develop and design communication materials to provide directly to the campus community. This position will develop digital and hangtag permit designs for review and submittal.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
