Manager - Oncology Forecasting
Key skills(must have): Inline and Pipeline, oncology forecasting experience is highly preferred .
This is a remote role and working hours will be EST so candidates from East Coast will be preferred.
We are looking for a resource in the range of 5 to 10 years of experience.
You will be responsible for :
- Develop, build and maintain up-to-date product-specific short-term and long-term forecasts models (incremental and absolute), reflecting current data/information/ assumptions.
- Take part in the forecasting and business planning processes and all associated work streams (sales bridges, ad hoc supporting Finance, etc.)
- Proactively and clearly identify key business issues that impact short-term and long-range product and market forecasts.
- Incorporate the results of primary research and secondary analytics into the forecast model(s) to reflect anticipated risks and opportunities on sales outlook.
- Deliver insightful, objective, high-quality presentations that clearly and succinctly highlight critical insights and business implications through strong storytelling.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key commercial stakeholders, Insights & Analytics.

- Work with Forecasting Directors and Senior Director to build forecasting capabilities and identify and help drive cross-brand forecasting process efficiencies and automations.
- Provide in-depth analyses around underlying drivers of brand performance in support of key business deliverables and milestones (e.g., Quarterly Business Reviews)
Your impact:
About you:
- BS/BA required. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of total business experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industry
- 3+ years in business analysis and forecasting for pipeline products & New Business Development opportunities.
- Must have at least two years of experience of forecasting for Oncology assets.
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with forecasting software such as Crystal Ball, @Risk, etc
- Experience with patient-based forecasting methods & models
- Familiarity with trend-based forecasting methods/models for forecasting inline products (Not mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to "reasonableness check" of numbers prior to review w/stakeholders
- Ability to identify appropriate visualization to support analysis
- Ability to articulate and clarify forecasting assumptions
- Ability to develop forecasts at the high level or detailed level depending on the business needs.
- Self-confidence, initiative, and ability to work independently to meet client deadlines
- Must possess very good communications and interpersonal skills.
