We have partnered with a growth focused PE firm who are looking to build out their accounting function. With a high acquisition focus, this organization has tremendous potential and is predicting the need to scale their operations. They are intending to hire top talent in their back-office functions in order to have the right minds and collaborative culture necessary to achieve their goals.
This organization is looking to add an
Accounting Manager to their team. With leadership already in place, they are noticing the need to build out policies and procedures as well as establish best practices. This organizations MO has been to hire people who are creative, solution oriented and who are interested in having a seat at the table. This
Accounting Manager will have a fluid role in that they are all sharing in the responsibilities and figuring out the most efficient and productive way to build the organization. There will be an opportunity for immediate management and the chance to build up your team.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Financial statement preparation, month end close, quarterly and annual close as well as ad hoc management reporting for leadership and PE firm
- Exposure to finance inclusive of budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning as well as trend analysis and margin analysis
- Creation and adherence to policies, procedure and best practices
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions as well as post-acquisition integrations
Accounting Manager Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience
- Collaborative and solution oriented
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Experience in private equity environments or public accounting
