Your role in our team
- You will program, Operate, and Maintain an Eagle Fiber Laser.
- You will be responsible for operating, loading, and unloading material and parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
- You will process Work Orders as quickly and as accurately as possible.
- You will ensure nesting is as economical as possible to ensure minimum waste.
- You will use CAD functions such as, drawing, modifying and nesting in a timely manner utilizing EAGLE eSOFT software and AutoCAD.
- You will interface with PLM software (Teamcenter) and 3-D CAD (NX) to generate flat patterns and verify their accuracy.
- You will interpret technical drawings and cut files. Report questions, comments, concerns.
- You will liaise with Engineering when required to ensure drawings are correct and suitable for manufacture.
- You will maintain, track, and plan tasks according to the production schedule.
- You will detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjusts machine, within capabilities and controls as required to ensure production quality.
- You will report all machine malfunctions.
- You will be proficient in Fiber Laser operating, programming, and nesting.
- You will be proficient in Fiber Laser cutting parameters, troubleshooting, and maintaining Fiber Lasers as well as maintaining required process gases.
- You will forecast and communicate completion timelines.
- You will ensure the Work Orders are complete and up to Körber standards before passing off to the next step in production.
- You will be responsible for tracking and staying within budgeted labor hours for work order.
- You will perform required maintenance as scheduled to ensure the functional performance of equipment. Installs and maintains replacement consumables as required.
- You will maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
- You will actively participate in 5S+1 and other continuous improvement activities.
Your profile
- You have knowledge in the use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments include but are not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, and scales.
- You possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
- You have understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerance interpretation.
- You have ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You have proficient in 2-D Autocad, 3-D NX, or similar CAD software.
- You have the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- You must have regular and punctual attendance.
- You have the ability to meet deadlines.
- You have 2+ years of successful experience in a performing Fiber Laser (or other similar technology) operation and programming.
- You have an Associate’s Degree or 2+ years of vocational technical training (experience in lieu of degree may be considered).
- You have HS diploma or equivalent required.
- You have specialized skill training/certification as required.
