Conveniently located near the Galleria shopping district and only minutes away from the Houston Medical Center, Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is a freestanding, 122 bed facility specializing in general adult psych, adolescent, geriatric, and women's services. Our continuum of care includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to stabilize symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health disorders.
Position Summary:
Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to perform routine laboratory specimen collections & preparation on patients based on physician orders.
This opportunity provides the following:
Position Requirements:
Licensure/Certification: Certificate of training in phlebotomy from an appropriate training institution required .
Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred
Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques preferred.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
