The Box Office Manager is responsible with day to day operations of the RiverPark Center Box Office and assists with ticket operations, utilizes software for all event creations and financial reports, maintains all box office policies and procedures.

 

This role will pay a wage of $18.03.

RiverPark Center is a 1,500 seat muti-purpose regional performing arts center in Owensboro Kentucky.

• Overall supervision of Part-Time staff members, including hiring, training, scheduling and payroll.
• Provide professional customer service to patrons and clients.
• Oversee all policies and procedures in relation to processing group and premium sales orders.
• Oversee the maintenance and reporting of the ticket scanners.

•Build events in ticketing system.

• Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with all levels of auditorium staff and
clients.
• Assist facility with reporting needs, processing, etc. and ensure the proper use of ticketing
system.
• Responsible for cash handling and box office controls.
• Supervise and oversee all financial settlements regarding sales recaps for staff members.
• Process financial reconciliation such as daily reports, event statements and monthly reports.
• Assist in the maintenance of marketing/trade/comp policies for all events.
• Extensive weekend and evening work required.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field strongly preffered.

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in ticket operations; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• Capable of working a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekend, holidays, extended
workdays and
extended numbers of days.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and supreme organizational abilities
