Job description
Software Developer
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be able to quickly grasp existing code base, modern and legacy, and make necessary changes while managing risk
- Primary focus on break / fix, optimizing and developing new requirements
- Work directly with process owners to gather software development requirements
- Quickly learns business processes and communicates recommendations/new ideas to support production needs
- Communicates concepts and outputs clearly inside and outside department
- Provides documentation of processes and training where needed
- Delivers project results within established deadlines.
Experience & Background:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly organized and able to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
- Ability to communicate/explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to others.
- Position will be based on-site at our Highland Heights facility. This is not a remote opportunity.
- Experience developing web applications with C# using ASP.Net MVC
- Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience designing MSSQL databases, SQL Queries, and stored procedures
- Experience designing and consuming REST API’s
- Knowledge of source control technologies is preferred, such as Azure Dev Ops
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree preferred
- Position will be based on-site at our Highland Heights facility. This is not a remote opportunity.
