About the role
The Project Manager will provide consulting services to our aerospace manufacturing client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
The role is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of manufacturing facility infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. Position requires an onsite presence 5 days/week in Middletown, CT. Renovation upgrade projects with emphasis on MEP infrastructure, HVAC, and manufacturing facility equipment upgrades initiation through completion.
What you’ll do
Manage all areas of project management for industrial commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Support the project delivery team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
Demonstrate ability to identify project risks and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job field and broad understanding of several job fields within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
