Job description

The University of Virginia Darden School of Business seeks a Program Manager to join its Institute for Business in Society (IBiS) team. This is a 3-year limited assignment with full benefits.

The Program Manager advances the Darden School mission of inspiring purpose-driven, innovative leaders who will change the world. This position supports the implementation and development of strategic initiatives and programming that creates and leverages a body of multidisciplinary research and thought leadership to transform the way that academics, students, practicing managers, policy makers and the public see the role of business in the creation of a fairer, and more productive, abundant and connected world. The Program Manager helps manage the planning and execution of all IBiS activities, from student-facing events and programs to faculty and alumni engagement.

This position is actively engaged in cross-enterprise teams including members of the Batten Institute, Mayo Center, Career Services Center, Communication & Marketing, Office of Research Services and others to advance IBiS's priorities and accelerate Darden's impact as a leader in business in society among top global business schools.

This position reports to the Director of the Institute for Business in Society and works in collaboration with every member of the Institute team and other units of UVA Darden to support students, faculty and other key stakeholders, including the Institute's Academic Directors who provide faculty leadership and academic guidance to Institute initiatives.

This position is based in Charlottesville, VA.
