Job Title: Senior Content Strategist

Location: Corporate office in Eden Prairie, MN but position can be done remotely (United States Based).

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Strategist to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that enhances each brand's local presence, engages our target audiences, and drives business growth across the system. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation, optimization and measurement of website content (service level pages, blogs, etc.), social media content, infographics/multi-media and offline content (sales material). In addition to supporting the local brands, this role will also support the growth of the Allstar Services corporate platform, growing awareness of Allstar as a best-in-class home services provider.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy aligned with the company's goals and target audience(s).
• Create and manage an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content across various platforms and locations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, operations) to gather insights and align content with business objectives and customer needs.
• Conduct content audits, analyze performance metrics, and leverage SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.
• Produce engaging and informative content, including blog posts, articles, videos, social media posts, email campaigns, and more.
• Tactfully grow the parent brand (Allstar Services).
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to company guidelines in all content produced.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative content strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ Years of experience in developing content and content strategies, preferably within the home services or relevant industry.
• Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing best practices.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including developing a content calendar and audience segmentation.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Willing to do research and dig-deeper to create expert-level content that speaks to the appropriate audience and is tailored correctly for delivery in the right platforms.
• Proficiency in content management systems, analytics tools, and SEO platforms.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
