Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Hourly Rate: $70,000 - $90,000

My client is an accounting & legal services provider based in Schaumburg. We are looking for a senior accountant with a CPA and tax experience and the ability to train new team members to join their growing team. If that sounds like you lets connect!

What You Will Be Doing

- Preparation & review of business and individual income tax returns.
- Supervision of junior tax associates and interns, leveraging technical expertise.
- Collaboration within a team on client engagements and projects.
- Cultivation of strong client relationships based on quality service.
- Adherence to firm's processes for assigned client work.
- Analysis and response to IRS/State notices, including drafting and reviewing responses.
- Participation in tax planning and estimates, especially for complex clients.
- Contribution to engagement proposals, including proposal drafting and budgeting.
- Effective communication of tax matters to partners.
- Delivering excellent client service through timely communication.
- Preparation of Trusts and Not for Profit income tax returns.

What You Need for this Position

Minimum of 3 years of public accounting (tax) experience required.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in finance or accounting is desired but not required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online software.
- Ability to train new accountants & review work
- Experience with tax returns for business + individuals
