Job description
MDG is hiring a Design Director!
In this role you are responsible for overseeing the design and execution of projects tasks and campaigns. You will bring exceptional design skills to the team that are used daily.
This is a hybrid role and requires you to work in our Boca Raton office three days per week.
What youll do:
Manages multiple tasks within the creative department
Meets provided deadlines and ensures work is delivered on time
The ability to creatively problem solve understand what the client is asking for asking required questions providing a solution that meets all client and internal design goals
Ensures all work is consistent with brand guidelines or campaigns for each client
Reviewing content for any errors and ensures that visuals are correct
The ability to design collateral including but limited to direct mail advertising flyers brochures packaging trade show materials signs and billboards.
Knowledge of digital asset creation including but not limited to design and exporting of emails static and animated/HTML banner ads newsletters social media blog images
The ability to utilize typography in creative designs
Implementation of designs into mockups for presentations
Ideate concepts to provide creative solutions
Concept campaigns and provide realworld marketing solutions
Ownership of creative ideas and articulate the vision behind them
Work with art directors production artists and creative directors throughout the creative process
Knowledge and ability to implement UI/UX design on emails landing pages and other digital media
Working with the creative directors to create presentations for client review
Design logos and systems to create brands
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and skills:
A bachelor s degree in advertising design or graphic art is preferred.
5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Possess a pixellevel attention to detail and a strong design sense with an eye for typography composition and color
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Be a team player working collaboratively with agency team to meet deadlines
Skilled in image manipulation and color correction
