High Demand for Unity Experience

Learn code in Unity, play games, help kids code, help with camps. Minecraft, Roblox, Microsoft MakeCode, JavaScript, and Robotics.

Code Ninjas in Macomb, MI is looking for coding tutors to join our team. We are located on 51226 Romeo Plank Road. Part Time Up to 20-30 hours/week.

Who are we?

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Position: Coding Tutor/Instructor (Code Sensei)

• Do you enjoy teaching and working with kids?
• Do you have experience with basic coding?
• Do you like playing video games?

Responsibilities include:

• Learn and teach Code Ninjas’ game curriculum
• Work with children (aka Ninjas) on their belt curriculum
• Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which student can grow
• Assist with Day Camps, Parent Night Outs, Birthday Parties, and Summer Camps
• Develop/modify STEM activities to support belt and camp curriculum
• Follow opening/closing and cleaning duties daily

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 7 and up (1 year – Required)
• Computer programming experience (1 year – Required)
• Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching
• Patient, kind, and understanding
• Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work
• Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology
• Some experience in Robotics, Minecraft, Scratch or Roblox

• Macomb, MI (future locations to come)

Working days:

• Mondays
• Wednesday
• Friday
• Saturday

Typical start time:

• 3 PM

Typical end time:

• 7PM
