A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):
We are seeking a Mobility Engineer to support hardware, software, and cloud services to help deploy, manage, track, and audit mobile devices. The MDM Engineer will act at the Tier 2/Tier 3 level and is responsible for system architecture, tracking, and troubleshooting mobile devices and administering the AirWatch and Workspace One for our business units. This individual manages, maintains supports, troubleshoots and optimizes the mobile cloud environment, its related mobile devices, and suggests adjustments and new system designs for future needs. The Mobile Device Administrator/Engineer ensures that all mobile devices and activations are in compliance with the client’s policies and procedures.
You will excel in this role if you are:
- A successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment, work well independently and with a team, and be able to maintain the current Mobility environment and support modernization projects.
What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience (Additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered)
- 3+ years of experience with developing or maintaining software/firmware for iOS, and Android.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ActiveSync, Exchange Online, Microsoft AD Services
- Demonstrated knowledge of mobile VPN configuration such as VMware Tunnel or Zscaler
- Demonstrated knowledge of mobile authentication such as Okta and PIV-D
- Demonstrated experience of integrating authentication for mobile platforms
- Real-world MDM solution experience e.g. MaaS360, WorkSpace One, Good, etc.
- Strong background providing user support.
What we are desiring from you (i.e. the nice-to-have qualifications):
- Experience working with ServiceNow and Jira
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organization skills and strong coordination and communication skills to work with representatives from agencies across the country.
- Demonstrated ability to work with MS PowerShell
- Strong networking background, understanding of DNS.
- Externally focused, consultant mindset
- Ability to transform business requirements to infrastructure requirements.
- Working knowledge of proxy, web connection protocols
- Real-world experience and demonstrated proficiency with AirWatch/Workspace One
Additional Comments:
- Hybrid – must be local and be able to go onsite.
- On call 24/7
- Work is primarily performed remotely.
