Job description

The Campus Administrator of Opus Newton & Coleman House will have overall responsibility for operations, employee and resident relations, and regulatory compliance for Opus Newton, 2Life Communities’ middle-income Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) of 174 apartments and Coleman House, an affordable housing community of 146 apartments, sharing the same campus. Because the Jewish Community Center also shares this campus, we expect the Administrator to work well with the JCC and expand the effectiveness of campus life.

INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure. The position requires adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. This position requires the ability to deal with and find resolution to problems and maintain a productive working relationship with team members, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of others. It also requires adaptability to fluctuate between priorities on a daily basis while being responsive to needs as they arise.

2Life Communities owns and operates over 1,300 units of affordable rental housing located within six campuses in metropolitan Boston. With another 210 apartments under construction and more in planning, we expect to add another 600-700 units within the next several years as we complete projects in active planning and construction phases.
