The Role:

Our Warehouse Manager is at the center of our operations and helps us fulfill thousands of orders per month to our customers and commercial clients. You will be responsible for the warehouse team, overseeing daily operations, container drop-offs, operational reporting and status updates. Additionally, you will attend pertinent business meetings during the week as the warehouse representative and ensure that orders are packed and fulfilled according to outlined service requirements. You will be the lead at our North Carolina warehouse, continuously striving to improve operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our North Carolina warehouse
• Lead and supervise the warehouse team for efficient order fulfillment and timely deliveries
• Assume responsibility for the overall facility, including maintenance and organization
• Act as a key liaison between departments to facilitate seamless warehouse operations and order fulfillment
• Drive initiatives to improve warehouse operations, streamline fulfillment processes, and enhance overall efficiency
• Generate reports to monitor warehouse performance and provide regular status updates on warehouse operations
• Manage container unloading, inventory receiving and inventory organization
• Ensure safe and secure transportation of furniture to customers
• Oversee returns management

Our Ideal Candidate: 

​​​​​​​You are a hard worker with a can-do attitude who can execute under pressure. You are handy, detail-oriented and know how to lead a team. You have experience working in a fast-paced warehousing or distribution environment.  You are capable of learning new processes and executing upon them quickly. You are open to challenging the status quo, good at identifying improvements and process efficiency opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

• Must have experience in a distribution and warehouse environment 
• Availability to work weekdays between 7am and 3pm ET
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Familiar with LTL, TL and Parcel shipping requirements and procedures 
• Experience with computer systems and ideally warehouse management and order processing systems
• Strong OSHA safety orientation and a proven record of complying with safety requirements 
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Demonstrated track record of consistent and reliable on-the-job contribution
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision or with a team
• Enjoys building process improvements and implementing efficiencies 
• Experience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift), certification preferred
• Experience using spatial reasoning to position product effectively
