In this role, you will be responsible for designing hardware and software systems that test and validate batteries on pack, cell, and component levels. You will be working with test and design engineers to release requirements for test system requirements, design an integrated hardware/software solution, and implement these systems into full-scale production. Your role will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our Li-ion battery systems

- Scale-up production level testing and data review through automation
- Conduct one-off development testing for novel battery test plans
- Analyze test data, identify potential issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement appropriate solutions
- Maintain scripting libraries and internal dependencies that unlock partner testing teams
- Design and develop test setups, fixtures, equipment, harnesses, and connectors required for battery testing and validation
- Participate in design reviews, and risk assessments, to contribute to the continuous improvement of battery pack design and performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, systems, reliability, and quality engineers, to gather information, share findings, and develop solutions
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during testing and handling of Li-ion batteries.

About the team
