Director of Utilization Review
We are looking for looking for a dynamic Director of Utilization Review (UR) to join our team!
The Utilization Review Director plans, coordinates, and manages the Utilization Review Program and staff. The responsibilities include the implementation of case management scenarios, consulting with all services to ensure the provision of an effective treatment plan for all patients, oversees the response to requests for services and interfaces with managed care organization, external reviewers, and other payers in compliance with all corporate, JCO, federal, state and local regulations. The Director serves as a backup for patient rights advocate for the facilityand maintains a productive, professional relationship with the medical staff, management team and all other departments.

QualificationsThe UR Director position requires:
Education : Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is preferred.
Licensure : Registered Nurse (RN) with current Ohio license.
Experience : Three years of nursing experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting is preferred. Prior experience in the utilization review function is highly preferred.
