Brand Management stewards The Walt Disney Company brands by providing guidelines, training, and governance while consulting and providing approvals for branded content, product, and marketing activities. Reporting to the Sr Manager, the Senior Analyst, Brand & Franchise Stewardship is an integral part of the team that builds and maintains brand guidelines, approvals, and training to equip every employee to be an effective brand steward.
What You Will Do
A day in the life of the Senior Analyst, Brand & Franchise Stewardship
- Serve as the point of contact to oversee brand and character applications in promotions, new licensed products, advertising, and character appearances as well as approval of all promotion-related materials, working alongside leadership on brand approvals
- Brand review and creative approvals on various business unit review systems
- Monitor all third-party promotions including setting up and training of new users; liaison with IT for system updates; trafficking approval requests; promotion approvals.
- Maintain the Brand Library of guidelines, regularly reviewing existing guidelines to remain relevant and up to date
- Assist with approval processes, ensuring timely completion
- Consult with Audience Stewardship team related to appropriate representation and inclusion of diverse audiences in our content, products, and marketing
- Manage the Company Corporate Identity Program (managing business unit requests for changes to business stationery designs, ad hoc requests, work with partners on approvals, and management of the print vendor)
- Review and acquire approvals on logo requests
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant business experience
- Understanding of the marketing mix including sales promotions and digital marketing
- Ability to apply clear guidelines to ambiguous situations
- Excellent creative judgment
- Organized, adaptable and responsive
- Skilled in diplomacy and solutions-oriented
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, graphic design, or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $85,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
