Job description

We are seeking a skilled Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist to join our Gastroenterology Clinic in Greenville, NC. This position is focused on providing outpatient gastroenterology services in a clinic setting. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with no call requirements, and the primary responsibilities include conducting new patient consultations and follow-up visits.

Greenville is a vibrant city located in the eastern part of North Carolina. It serves as the county seat of Pitt County and is known for its thriving economy, diverse culture, and strong sense of community.

Clinic Details:

• Outpatient clinic setting with no call requirements.
• Average volume: 15-20 office visits per day.
• Thirteen exam rooms available for patient consultations.

• 974-bed level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive medical services.
• Utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system for seamless patient care.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability to perform outpatient procedures including new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
