Job description

We are currently accepting applications for the position of, Registered Nurse (RN) to work with our Bridge team.

The Bridge team is based on Assertive Community Treatment (ACT). ACT teams can be described as a hospital without walls due to the extensive wrap around services that are provided. Services are provided both within the community and in the office based on client needs. Bridge is a close knit team of case managers, therapists, nurse, psychiatrist, peer support specialist, and budget specialist with Representative Payee Services who work together to prevent the clients from needing hospitalization.

ACT is a client-centered, recovery-oriented mental health service delivery model that has received substantial empirical support for facilitating community living, psychosocial rehabilitation, and recovery for persons who have the most severe and persistent mental illnesses, have severe symptoms and impairments, and have not benefited from traditional outpatient programs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, between the hours of 12:00 PM & 8:00 PM

Our Benefits Include:

Compensation: $29.80 - $37.75 per hour (depending on experience)

Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency.

Essential Functions (Performs all or some of the following)

Monitors and administers medications for patients, provides patient/client education regarding medications and importance of treatment compliance; refers programs for clients needing life-coping skills; monitors effect of medication to recognizes adverse reactions.
Writes patient progress notes; records and documents doctor's orders; prepares and processes admissions/Intake paperwork; assures accuracy of billable work hours; participates in team reviews of treatment plans; verifies legal documentation and assures "audit" readiness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college with an associate's degree in nursing; plus, must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Utah. Preference will be given for experience in the field of mental health.

Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
