Position Title: Finance Associate

Reports To: Finance Manager

Qualifications:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in accounting
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree required in a related field
• Proficient in Sage Fund Account Accounting Software or related software
• Proficient In:

Salary: Commensurate credentials and experience ($20-22 per hour)

Period of

Employment: Part time position (approximately 20-25 hours)

Job Goal:

We are looking for a hard-working, experienced Finance Associate
to perform a variety of financial tasks. These include keeping
financial records updated, preparing reports and participating in the closing process.

You will use Sage Fund Accounting Software to process business
transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable,
cash disbursements, and generate financial reports. A successful Finance Associate will ensure that the
company's financial are accurate and comply with state and internal controls and accounting functions run accurately and

effectively while supporting all functions in a small office
environment.

Working Conditions &

Physical Demands:

Minimal lifting of office equipment or supplies routinely required. Must be able to communicate clearly and possess the ability to meet multiple job demands in a busy environment. May be required to operate his/her own vehicle when needed.

Duties:

• Assisting with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.

2. Supports Accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), including stage agency billing, monthly invoices, preparing bank deposits

3. Managing account records, issuing invoices, and handling payments.

• Analyzing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
• Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.

6. Prepare general ledger postings and statements

• Processes bi-weekly payroll and submits to ADP, generates wage garnishment checks, 403(b) report, processes client and student worker wage statements
• Enters A/P & A/R into Sage Fund Account Accounting software
• Reviewing existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

10. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

11. Process biweekly payroll

• Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.

13. Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

• Manages petty cash
• Performs any other delegated non-instructional responsibilities assigned by Executive Director, Associate Executive Director or Finance Manager.
• Adheres to confidentiality regulations
