Summary : The Hematology Team Lead Technologist is responsible for daily operations in Hematology, Coagulation and Urinalysis. They also assist the Laboratory Medical Director and Director of Laboratory Services when required. Duties will be divided into 90% technical and 10% administrative.The Team Lead Hematology Technologist is responsible for daily operations in the Hematology department. They also assist the Laboratory Medical Director and Director of Laboratory Services when required. Duties will be divided into 80% technical and 20% administrative.
1. Licensure/Certification/ Registration:
· Must have MT (ASCP) certification, or equivalent.
2. Education:
· BS in Medical Technology or related science field required
3. Other Qualifications:
· Five to ten years of recent experience working in Hematology, Coagulation and Urinalysis areas of the Laboratory.
· Demonstrated progressive supervisory experience.
