This position is based at Nikkiso ACD, LLC, located in Santa Ana, CA.

Position Summary:

As a Test Pad Engineer, you will take ownership of all pump/drive FAT/validation testing procedures/processes and test results base on the testing parameters listed within the pump “Data Sheet”. This will include pretest inspection of Electrical and mechanical hook-ups, test flow rates and parameters to achieve. Review all data sheets to ensure latest REV is in hand and correct. Witness all testing and document all pass/fail results on the appropriate forms and files/downloading into the appropriate files. Work closely with the Test Pad Supervise and the Quality group for scheduling awareness and witness third party. Inventory all tooling and fixers and ensure asset numbers are attached.

• Establish a framework for each test as required to communicate test requirements from each department
• Document and monitor pump testing as required and assist in test troubleshooting if necessary
• Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures
• Detailed understanding of how to properly document test results per customer requirements
• Work closely with Engineering to communicate testing requirement to test pad while ensuring hardware and tooling are available to perform required testing
• Assist in Factory acceptance test reports as required. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required
• Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
• Experience with pump test equipment is preferred.
• Project development and leadership skills are essential in planning and overseeing project tasks
• Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the execution of a proposed test plan
• Advanced work experience in analyzing and testing Cryogenic pump is preferred.
• Previous work experience as a test engineer is preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000
