Job description


GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for performing duties in support of the Credit Union's Indirect Lending operation, to include reviewing incoming loan packets from dealers and performing related support functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Review all incoming loan packets from dealers for completeness, proper order, loan policy and appropriate documentation.
2. Prepare all loan documents for imaging including supporting documents.
3. Follow up with dealerships for missing documents needed prior to funding.
4. Assist Indirect Loan Officers with smart approval follow up letters.
5. Fund indirect loans and open new member accounts.
6. Assist Indirect Loan Officers with preparing Adverse Action notices for applications that have been denied.
7. Assist Indirect Loan Officers with ordering payment booklets for members.
8. Prepare and send payoff request for members while at dealerships.
9. Assist with indirect promotions and marketing efforts.
10. Assist in the preparation of monthly analytics and spreadsheets for indirect lending and other reports as requested in a timely manner.
11. Maintain current knowledge of all Credit Union policies and procedures, including compliance with federal laws and regulations as set forth by the NCUA and other regulatory agencies.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist in other departments as necessary.
2. Order supplies as necessary.
3. Attend training courses, conferences and seminars as necessary.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Requires professional, well-developed interpersonal skills for communication with dealerships and coworkers.
2. Work requires knowledge of indirect lending products/services and indirect loan processing procedures.
3. Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concept involving decimals, percentages and fractions, etc.)
4. Requires completion of high school education.
5. Requires previous work experience in a clerical position. Financial institution experience is preferred.
6. Requires PC proficiency and knowledge of Office Suite.
