Product Manager

We are in immediate need of a Product Manager with Accounting and e-commerce experience to join our agile Product Development Team. The candidate must be a self-starter who has the ability to multitask priorities in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do:
- Identify user and business needs from senior executives.
- Manage a team of 3 product owners, working with multiple development teams
- Ensure the roadmap is tied to clear business goals and strategic objectives.
- Use accounting work experience to identify new product features to enhance our application
- Identify areas of opportunity and improvement in the product through data collection and competitive analysis.
- Work with cross-functional teams to refine business goals and the product vision.
- Develop a keen understanding of our market, users and customers.
- Coordinate closely with customer facing and sales teams to actively seek out the customer's and prospect's feature requests and pain points.
- Map out project milestones and identify and resolve strategic roadblocks.
- Coordinates with Product Owner to manage prioritization, balancing business needs versus technical and resource constraints.
- Assist in defining product requirements, functional designs, and lead the successful execution of initiatives.
- Resolve roadblocks by being the subject matter expert for the product development team
- Assists Product Owner with backlog prioritization as necessary.
- Works with the Director of Product Development to define, track, and report on business metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate communication with Product Owner between developers, designers, and business stakeholders regarding goals, requirements, and risks.
- Keep abreast of changes in Salesforce.com with a view to adoption of new technologies.
- Perform user acceptance testing.
- Be a champion for product training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of product management experience
- A minimum of 5-7 years of professional IT Accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or appropriate work experience
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Certified Scrum Master
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce technologies and applications
- Prior experience with agile methodologies
Looking for a Product Manager. The scope of duty would include defining our e commerce
platform's core functions that will enable dynamic content delivery across
multiple channels and provide oversight for the timely execution of
consistent, high-quality content assets, from ideation and production to
distribution and analysis.
The Product Manager needs a deep understanding of the core business
and our digital business. The Product Manager will develop business
strategies, identify high-value segments, and implement tactics that drive
business opportunities that align with the digital and technology roadmap
themes. Monitor business and digital trends, POS Guest behaviors and
expectations, and competitive intelligence to define, prioritize, and
implement the digital roadmap.
Position Responsibilities:
- Derive realistic product targets / KPIs (with help for complex products)
- Partner with product teams to integrate a e commerce infrastructure across product touch points for store retailers
- Deliver project artifacts consisting of user stories, use cases, and data/process flows.
- Coordinate with engineering counterparts and other partners (e.g., UX, other product teams) to deliver new platform and product capabilities against product team goals
- Ensure content quality across channels.
- Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to identify and clearly define business requirements
- Exhibit natural and intuitive user empathy
- Can articulate product strategy and manage business partners' expectations accordingly
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including an ability to communicate effectively at an executive level.

- Define and align Product Roadmaps, clearly communicating the connection between vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmap

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management and end-to-end product delivery
- 5+ years of experience with content management platforms and/or knowledge management systems
- Experience with software development sprints and project management software (JIRA, Asana, etc.)
- Familiar with data architecture - specifically JSON, Charles Proxy, key- value pairs
- Experience working directly with engineers to define and plan technical products focused on full-stack, back end, infrastructure, or platform implementations
- Self-starter and can work independently under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong presentation and ability to communicate goals, status, and issues
- Demonstrate ability to define Product Roadmaps
- Experience conducting business partner discussions to define functional requirements, with a progression in complexity
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability with impeccable follow- through
- Strong prioritization and organization skills with experience juggling time-sensitive requests from multiple business partners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed organization, executing several initiatives concurrently while balancing competing priorities.
