Job description

Purpose
Performs all eviction functions in connection with a foreclosed property. Performs tasks that require knowledge of preparing documents to be filed in court, requesting checks for the filing fees, court procedures, and checking statuses on the court proceedings. Knowledge of the eviction process is preferred.
Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities - Provide paralegal support to attorneys and the Eviction Department
- Prepare, Serve, and Monitor Legal Notices
- Prepare, File, and serve Summons and Complaints
- Monitor cases
- Monitor hearing schedules
- Communicate with clients regarding litigation matters via email and phone
- Verify property addresses using foreclosure documents
- Handle incoming phone calls from Defendants, Clients, County Courts, and County Sheriffs
Job Requirements - High School Diploma
- Legal experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate with clerks, judges and attorneys.
- Must understand/learn eviction law and local jurisdictional requirements.
General Competency Factors - Must be proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.
