CDPAP Intake Coordinator - Bilingual

Preferred Home Care of New York, a fully licensed Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area is seeking a top tier CDPAP Intake Coordinator for our Brooklyn Corporate Office who understands the regulations governing the home care field, related to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances, and is committed to excellence in patient care. The Intake Coordinator will enjoy working independently and a part of a dynamic and supportive intake team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two years of experience within the Home Care services industry; Intake Coordinator experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HHA Exchange
• Understands the regulations governing the home care field, related to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance.
• Understanding of communicating effectively with employee, clients and their families, medical and community affiliates in order to develop positive relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Constituent Database (HHA Exchange)
• Investigative ability, highly organized, self-motivated, takes initiative, excellent written and verbal communication and analytical critical thinking skills; able to perform without much supervision.
