Director of Marketing
$100-125K + 25% bonus
Join a dynamic and growing real estate company in Syracuse, NY as the Director of Marketing. This firm has an excellent reputation and is seeking a strategic marketing leader to shape and enhance their corporate brand presence.
As the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. You will report to Senior Management and will collaborate with the entire leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a robust strategic marketing plan
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to differentiate the corporate brand in their industry
- Establish consistent corporate branding and messaging both internally and externally
- Manage Brand Ambassador / Influencer Groups, developing strategies and content to leverage these advocates
- Lead digital marketing campaigns to strengthen the corporate brand, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence
- Manage and leverage the marketing budget specifically for corporate initiatives, ensuring maximum impact and substantial return on investment
- Develop and provide ongoing management of digital content budget and resulting KPIs at the corporate level
- Manage and develop corporate materials for key departments such as Leasing, Business Development, Asset Management, Property Management & Development
- Manage strategic presence in the community, including charitable contributions
- Develop strong relationships with local community leaders, civic associations, and nonprofit organizations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and brand strategy, with a focus on real estate
- Proven success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel occasionally as part of the role
- Ability to collaboratively work on a team, remotely and in-office
- Ability to constructively provide feedback to corporate and property teams
- Understanding of the advertising industry, including media purchasing, placement, and negotiation
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of HTML, PHP, and CSS
- Advanced: Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Intermediate: SketchUp and rendering software
- Apple Motion or other video-related software
- WordPress, including FTP software
- Office: Word, Excel
