About the Role

As the VP of Payer Contracting, you'll be at the forefront of our growth journey. Collaborating closely with our CEO, you'll shape our payer contracting strategy and drive national expansion efforts, with a focus on Medicaid government programs. Your role will involve building and nurturing relationships with Medicaid Managed Care Organizations and state leaders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring operational alignment for success in each market.

What You'll Do

Partner with the CEO to develop innovative value-based care models and drive national expansion.
Lead payer contracting across various service lines, from fee-for-service to value-based care.
Cultivate strong relationships with health plan and state leaders to secure contracts and manage negotiations.
Ensure partner satisfaction through effective executive account management.
Directly manage a talented Business Development team and collaborate with other leaders across the organization.
What You'll Need

Proven track record in Medicaid sales leadership, securing complex deals with both regional and national plans.
Experience navigating government programs, including RFPs and regulatory frameworks.
Strong understanding of contracting risk and ability to navigate varied regulatory landscapes.
Holistic mindset with a keen sense of business tradeoffs.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with high-level stakeholders.
Strategic vision coupled with strong execution capabilities.
Impeccable judgment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
