Southwestern Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time
Compliance Billing/Coding Auditor to add to our team of professionals. This position is location on-site in Evansville, IN.

The Compliance Billing/Coding Auditor must possess, or acquire, a comprehensive understanding of coding principles and documentation requirements of various payer sources so they can:
- Audit clinical documentation and billing of services performed by clinical staff.
- Prepare written reports of audit findings and consult with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate and/or provide training and consultation to improve billing and documentation processes.
- Run scheduled reports to identify areas of improvement with documentation and billing.
- Demonstrate diligence, independence and initiative and acts as a resource to all staff.
- Prioritize activities based on outstanding audit projects and other work demands and ensures timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinates monthly exclusion data base checks, review and report findings.
- Create corrective action plans with management, as needed.
- Maintain relevant documentation and data, as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of coding and/or medical record auditing experience.
- Healthcare billing/coding experience required.
- Behavioral Health experience preferred,
- Strong analytical and data presentation skills required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
