Carmelo Park Assisted Living is looking for a Prep Cook/Dishwasher to assist the Head Chef in food prep and service for approximately 40 residents. Part time evenings Friday and Saturday 3-7pm and Sunday and Tuesday 10:30-7. This is a good opportunity for someone who is looking to take a next step in their Professional Kitchen career. The Head Chef will provide training and support in kitchen clean up, meal prep, delivery handling and kitchen protocols, as well as menu direction. Carmelo Park Assisted Living in Monterey is seeking the right individual for Prep Cook/Dishwasher. -Assist in serving meals for 30-40 elderly residents. -Must be personable, open to praise (and criticism), patient, and able to work independently. -Must be able to work under the direction of the Head Chef. -Must be able to prepare meals that feature simple and delicious, nutritional down-home cooking that your grandparents would love. -This position will be responsible for all aspects related to kitchen/food management for our residents. -Must be able to pass a background clearance check with fingerprinting.**
