UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring for communications Specialist, Biomedical
Written Announcements: Drafting written announcements for various purposes, such as publications, and symposiums, award recognition, new initiatives, and special events. Newsletters for Biomedical Engineering: Taking the lead in drafting the quarterly and annual newsletters for the biomedical engineering department. This task involves compiling relevant information, highlighting achievements, and presenting updates in a cohesive and engaging manner. Website and Social Media Updates: Focusing on updating and maintaining the organization\’s website and social media outlets. This includes ensuring that the website content is current, accurate, and aligned with the organization\’s messaging and goals. Regular updates may involve news, events, and other relevant information. Reviewing and Editing Documents: Assist staff and faculty members in reviewing documents such as grant proposals, manuscripts, and official letters for clarity and impact.
