Summary

The PI Systems Integration Analyst provides architecturally sound and strategically minded solutions to meet business needs and align with SRP IT and industry best practices. This position provides application support to a variety of departments within SRP utilizing the AVEVA PI software suite. They are responsible for the health and wellness of the technical environments and software assets that the team supports. 

What You'll Do

• Gather and interpret business requirements into PI System design components and activities.
• Interface with personnel in supporting and enhancing PI Systems.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of tasks assigned to general server administrators.
• Assist in the process of retrieving and archiving data into the PI System(s) via the installation of PI interfaces, creation of PI tags, and other related activities.
• Provide first level support and troubleshooting for end users' requests and issues. 
• Develop solutions to leverage PI System artifacts beyond initial implementations based on project needs.
• Assist in the development and presentation of SRP-specific training materials.
• Create and maintain online documentation related to PI implementations, usage, and capabilities.
• Build limited-scope custom applications utilizing PI SDK and API to handle special cases not already covered by standard PI components.

What It Takes To Succeed

AVEVA PI: 3 years (Preferred)

Expertise in the AVEVA ecosystem components such as:

• PI Data Archive Server
• PI Interfaces (PI-to-PI, Modbus, etc.)
• PI Asset Framework (AF) and AF SDK
• PI Event Frames
• PI Vision
• PI DataLink for Excel
• PI Manual Logger

 

Preferred Skills:
• Ability to work on more than one high profile, complex project concurrently.
• Ability to independently research and learn new ways to solve complex business problems utilizing best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft family of products (Word, Excel, Exchange, Active Directory, etc.)
• Able to work both in a team environment and independently and deliver high quality results when provided a set of technical requirements
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with other IT departments.
• Ability to respond to infrastructure change requirements such as OS upgrades or Cyber Security policy changes.
• Coding background: C#, Python, SQL, JS, json, XML

Experience

Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
